About Us
The Tea Area School District, established in July 2003, was built by a dedicated community of volunteers who cleaned, furnished, and constructed classrooms. Nearly 20 years later, it is one of the fastest-growing districts in the state, with growth exceeding 5% annually. The district, located southwest of Sioux Falls, serves 2,546 students and will graduate 170 students in 2025, up from just 11 in 2004.
Our mission is to educate and empower students for success in a global society. We focus on continuous improvement, guided by pillars of Student Achievement, Community, Engaged Titans, and Finance and Growth Management. We emphasize teamwork, communication, accountability, and innovation within our faculty, staff, and students.
