Jason Bennett
President

Jason has served on the Tea Area School Board since 2020 and has been a member of the Tea Area community since 2007. As an Insurance Territory Manager, he brings a thoughtful approach to decision-making and enjoys the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of Tea Area Schools.

Jason chose to serve on the board because of his commitment to community service and his interest in helping guide decisions that impact students, staff, and families. He values being part of the Tea Area Schools team and appreciates the many dedicated people who make the district a great place to learn and grow.

Jason and his wife, Amanda, have been married for 27 years. Their son, Ian, attends Morningside University, and their daughter attends South Dakota State University. As the parent of two Tea Area graduates, he is proud of the opportunities the district provides for students.

Outside of board service, Jason enjoys spending time with family, riding motorcycle, hunting, and giving back through community service.
